Using guided prompts\, sensory imagery\, and gentle instruction\, participants will learn how to craft haiku that capture winter’s quiet moments. From falling snow and early sunsets to steaming mugs and frozen sidewalks. \nNo writing experience is needed. Whether you’re new to poetry or simply looking for a peaceful\, inspiring way to spend an hour\, you’ll leave with several original winter haiku and a renewed sense of creative confidence. Expect a cozy atmosphere\, meaningful reflection\, and the joy of turning ordinary moments into art. \nCome for the poetry\, stay for the calm\, leave with words you didn’t know you were carrying. \nNatalie Jeangilles is a writer\, community creative\, and workshop facilitator with a lifelong love of storytelling and self-expression. Raised in Westchester\, New York\, Natalie discovered early on that writing was both a refuge and a form of exploration. Over the years\, she has written across multiple forms from screenplays to poetry  always drawn to the power of words to transform everyday moments into something meaningful. \nHer journey with poetry began as a personal practice and evolved into a passion for helping others find their own voice on the page. \nNow based in Upstate New York\, Natalie continues to write\, create\, and build community through storytelling\, photography\, and creative events. Her teaching style blends structure with freedom\, helping writers of all levels feel confident\, inspired\, and empowered to express what they carry inside.
